Increase Idle timer for PPP

Want to increase the timer that disconnects you from a PPP (aka DialUp Networking) session? Here's how:

Run RegEdit

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
• System
• CurrentControlSet
• Services
• Class
• Modem
• 0000
• Settings

You should be clicked on "Settings" at this point.

• Move down to "Inactivity Timeout".
• Double-Click on it.
• Change the # in "Value data" to a number in minute that you want it set to. (255 max)

Reboot
