Turn off Window Zooming

Want to turn off the animated window zooming that Win95 defaults to when you (min/max)imize windows? This is how:

Run RegEdit

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER
• Control Panel
• desktop
• WindowMetrics

You should see a listing of settings for icons, menu's etc.

• Go to the "Edit" menu, "New", "String Value"
• Name it: MinAnimate
• Double-Click on this new value.
• Change the "Value data" to: 0
• Click OK.

Reboot
