Before developing an area, an area proposal must be submitted first. The proposal provides us with the initial idea of the project and allows us to help refine it so that it will fit within the Dragons' Star universe.

If you haven't done so yet, you should become familiar with the Story material available in the Playing the Game section. The information contained there is considered canon for the Dragons' Star universe. In other words, if something stated in an area contradicts a fact documented in the story, the area will have to be changed.

Please note: First time builders should try to keep their area design to no more than 200 rooms. Only experienced builders should take on 200-400 room areas. Proposals for 500 or more room areas will only be accepted from builders who have built for Dragons' Star before.

Please note: If you need more time than 12 weeks, please be sure to include your timeline reasonings in the Project Description.



Timeline Expectations

A certain level of regular progress is expected regardless of the timeline. We are understanding of real life commitments; we all have them. However, projects that do not have any progress made for more than 4 weeks without an explanation may be canceled without warning to make room for other projects.
